Metrodiversity Editor Debuts on Telemundo News

Wednesday evening, March 28, 2012 , this author began a series of weekly appearances on the local Telemundo evening news show at 6 & 11 pm in a Spanish language feature the station labels, “Batallas de Ideas” (Battle of Ideas). It’s a two minute segment that usually appears about 6:20 (11:20 on the late night version) in which Israel Ortega and I debate a policy issue from different points of view. The topics are picked from the national issues of the day and Israel, an expert who works at the Heritage Foundation, defends the conservative position and my role is to put forward the progressive argument. We’ve committed to this feature from now thru the election cycle in November.
