Habana Village Hosts Latino Meeting
on Adams Morgan Historic Hotel

Hotel developers have made a commitment to preserving the diversity of the neighborhood by incorporating features and designs that reflect the multicultural nature of the environment that surrounds it along with offering positions to qualified individuals who represent the various races and ethnicities that can be found among the residents of the area. Opportunities will be available to Hispanic owned companies as well as skilled workers at all levels. AMHH is fundamental to preserving the economic, ethnic and racial diversity of the Adams Morgan neighborhood as well as providing a top of the line facility to host visitors and the community alike.
The developers of the hotel have gone above and beyond to include community participation in the planning decisions and have promised to provide 4,000 square feet for community usage. The developers have committed to supporting the Adams Morgan Youth Leadership Academy as a job training and placement service and have accommodated a great many community suggestions in their architectural plans as well as their operations.
“This project will provide a great many opportunities for our community and assure that diversity is maintained in this neighborhood” said Pepe Lujan, renowned community leader and one of the owners of Habana Village. Join us on Thursday evening, August 16 for an interesting, bi-lingual information session on an exciting, new project that promises to be a special, unique experience in the heart of DC’s most eclectic neighborhood.
