My name is Jose Sueiro and I live and work at 1841 Columbia Road N.W. I have lived and worked in this neighborhood for a very long time. It has always been an exciting, diverse place and has managed to preserve its unique spirit by weaving a motley quilt of competing interests into an active, inviting and welcoming neighborhood. Adams Morgan has always been at the vanguard of change and innovation. It is, in a very real sense, the heart of the District.

Adams Morgan is the most eclectic, extravagant, bold and bohemian neighborhood in Washington DC. East of Rock Creek Park, north of the White House, west of 16th St. and south of the National Zoo, it resembles Soho in New York City due to its rich arts scene, Bourbon Street in New Orleans because of its funky night life, Boston’s Beacon Hill for its stately mansions in the Kalorama Triangle and Miami’s Calle 8 with its wealth of Latino culture.
